As you all know, we had a sad loss in our church family a few weeks ago. St Betsie passed away after a long illness in the Caribbean, visiting family and relatives. Many requests have come in for a Memorial Service for Sr Betsie. After discussions with Emery and Betsie's sister, Beverley, we have had to move the Memorial Service date to 23 November 2013 for the afternoon. This will serve as a thanksgiving and praise session for the life and influence Betsie had in the church in St Albans.

We are already preparing for our 2nd Evangelism Sabbath of this year. Please put this date in your diary as a very special Sabbath as we will need the whole church (members, regular visitors, friends, children included), to help prepare and do the outreach in our local St Albans Community. We are going to have a special Tract and Book Distribution as part of a gift package in preparation for 21 December's Community Evangelism Sabbath (4 days before Christmas) . We are planning something special, which will make you proud of being a disciple of Jesus.
